Functionality creating a space for a Bronte local legend, Our clients wanted to keep the essence of the original garage gym. The old space had sandstone walls and natural wood from the sauna so our goal was to reimagine that warmth in a more refined way. We used a Porter’s Paint stone finish to replicate the texture of sandstone and got MCM wooden cubes in the seating area as a nod to the wooden elements.

Rather than leaning into the typical black and white aesthetic of many gyms, we aimed to create something more elevated - a space that feels intentional, warm and timeless. Every design choice was made to ensure the Avenue is not just functional but also a place where people feel comfortable, refreshed and inspired the moment they walk in.
